Congratulations Winner's of the First Round!

 

 

We would like to congratulate you all on the amazing outcome of the first round of Moda Doll's contest, and the percentage of participation; the turn out was above and beyond! We had such a difficult time picking the winners, and even harder deciding on who to go home. We were all so amazed at all the entries, it was too difficult to choose!

 

Thus, brings us to the next round!

 

 

The Second Photo Fashion Prompt:

You must us the image of the skull we've provided, courteous of one of our judges, talented Brant Yang has drawn for you all. You must use it some where in the photo you take; it may be the background, or in the background, you can use it as a prop, or cut it out and use it on your model. You may not cut the skull into pieces, the skull must remain whole. There is no limit to the amount of skulls you print out. The skull(s) must help sell the piece of clothing or look you're trying to sell, which is up to you this week; with the only criteria that it should be creepy/Halloween-y.

 

We would like to note that photoshop is NOT allowed.

Each contestant must participate in every theme, or face elimination. 

The deadline for the second theme will be 12:00 AM Pacific time on Wednesday, November 11th.

 

Each contestant will have a week and a half to complete each entry. (New themes are always on Saturday, and end on the next, next Wednesday.)

 

For this round, we will NOT be posting the all the entry images. We do not want any ideas or concepts to be stolen or shared between contestants.

We will show the images of 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners and 3 judge's choice when the prompt deadline is over and winners are announced.

It's autumn, and magazines are looking for something bright to sell.

Try to sell one red piece of clothing off your doll. Make sure the red item of choice is center of attention and bold. Do your best to convey that the red item is the only item you intend to sell!

Each contestant must participate in every theme, or they face elimination. 

The deadline for the first theme will be 12:00 AM Pacific time on Wednesday, October 28th.

6 contestants will be eliminated on from the first prompt. 

Each contestant will have a week and a half to complete each entry. (New themes are always on Saturday, and end on the next, next Wednesday.)

!IMPORTANT REMINDER!

Don't miss the deadline for the first prompt! All contestants unable to make the deadline will be automatically eliminated. Minor exceptions will be made if there is good cause.

5 winners will be announced on either Oct. 29th or 30th and will receive IMMUNITY from elimination from the next round!
6 contestants will be eliminated from this round. Also announced on Oct. 29th or 30th.

Welcome to the World's Premier of Moda Doll

Ultimate Ball Jointed Doll's Fashion Contest

This contest is all about dolly fashion. The contest will have rounds where there is a theme/prompt that each entry has to abide to. For example, one prompt may be something like; "Imagine you are posing a pair of shoes for a magazine, make sure the doll's whole body is in the picture, no cropped limbs, but also make sure the shoes are the center of attention". Each round will have a prompt with different guidelines. 

Please follow the instructions below to apply to be apart of Moda Doll's first Fashion Contest!

1. Take a photograph of the contestant you wish to enter. Must be ball jointed doll, made of resin. (Exception: Vinyln / Dollfie Dreams)

• Photograph must be on white background
• Contestant must be wearing white, or nothing
• Must be bust up, no nipples!
• Photo must be clear
